  1. It may be that the parents are out hunting and needed to travel further to get food...if they arent back within 2 days somthing has proberly happened to them...you can give them to a bird santary or you can raise them up yourself with abit of info on the web.

  2. The parents need extra food in the shape as soaked sprouting seed.

Soak some of their seed in warm water overnight ,drain, rinse, place somewhere warm till it sprouts (2-3 days)and start to feed them A.S.A.P,In the mean time give them a little broccoli or if you can get some Dandelion Seeding heads before the sprout feed them with these.

They have not stopped feeding them for nothing there has to be a reason ,? do they look O.K. normally the young will leave the nest at 14-18days,so it could be that the parents are trying to tempt them out.

The only other solution is to fed them with a little soaked digestive biscuit! useing tweezers.

    Good luck.

  3. Firstly are they pets in a cage?

If so then are the chicks feathered up as if ready to fly the nest then this may be why the parents seem to be starving them in order to try and get the chicks to fly the nest at the age that they are they should be getting close to leaving the nest.

This is probably what is happening and the parents aren't starving them.

Hope this helps but if you want more just e-mail me.
