Question:

Zebra fish (danio) dilemma!?

i had 9 zebra fishes today and i was doing 20% water change when i suddenly noticed one had died (before the water change). any ways i picked it out and i gently stroked its stomach and a swarm of eggs came out!

can the eggs still be fertilized if so how can i do it? i don't want the male eating it

Find the smaller of the Danio's this will be the male and do the same to ti in a teacup or a spec jar. and get small tank at goodwill or thrift store or even a store pending on how much you want to spend...and use this tank to raise them    Danio's are very prolific breeders in the aquarium and to do this till you have an abundance you could make a pretty penny.   have fun !!

    The idea is to keep the others from eating them and until they get big enough to put in the tank...
