Are you aware of of it? Are you participating? Do you want to earmark this film for when you have a spare 2 hours? Please, please take a look, give it a few minutes it's not a Hollywood movie, so no spectacular car chases or grand opening scenes:http://zeitgeistmovie.com/main.htm

This explains what it is:http://www.federicopistono.org/content/zeitgeist_-_march_15_2008_z-day

By far the best film I have ever seen. If it reaches you let others know.

If you take a look or already know about it, what are your thoughts?

  1. I just watched Zeitgeist recently. It was very interesting, had some very blatant truths in it, and introduced me to new ideas.

What I find odd about it is that, though it wagged its figurative finger at the Bush administration for fostering terror, it was also inciting extreme fear in its own fashion.

I understand that some people need to be extremely emotionally charged in order to justify change, but why use the exact tool that you are criticizing?  Okay, not the exact tool, but a very similarly styled tool.

The end message was definitely something that I've been noticing more and more, which I have found even in books from the early 1900's (one particular book said to look toward this past century as a blatant evolution of social consciousness).

Ultimately, I'm glad I spent the 2 hours watching it. I even shared it with some family members.

    Glad you brought it up!

    Peace

  2. Part 1 is a direct challenge to the foundations of Christianity to the point of being anti-Christian.

If you're a Christian, you'll hate it and find it threatening.

If you are anti-Christian, you may enjoy it.

Part 2 is a collection of 9/11 government conspiracy allegations.

If you believe that sort of thing, you'll feel validated.

If you're looking for something objective and adding insight, you won't find it here.

Part 3 is a collection of anti-Fed conspiracy theory rhetoric.

If you revel in that sort of thing, you'll love it.

If you are learned person in economics or history, you'll be appalled at the lack of regard for factual information.

    In summary:

If you like one-sided diatribes on the above topics with little regard for facts, you might enjoy it.

If you're looking for something truthful and objective, you won't find it here.
