Zenit St. Petersburg are in a difficult UEFA Champions’ League group, admits Vladislav Radimov
Zenit assistant manager, Vladislav Radimov, has urged his team to work harder after being handed one of the most difficult groups in the Champions League. Radimov is of the belief that the group has become tighter and fates of
the teams would be undecided until the final fixture.
Zenit St. Petersburg have been drawn against FC Apoel, Shakhtar Donetsk and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 in the group stages of UEFA Champions League.
Sine-Belo-Golubye are set to play a crunch away Russian Premier League encounter before taking on Shakhtar Donetsk in the upcoming European fixture at home. Radimov revealed that Zenit need to emphasize on certain areas if they
are to better the Ukrainian Premier League title holders.
After drawing the latest group stage game 2-2 against Shakhtar, Zenit have retained the second spot on the group table. As things stand, Zenit and FC Porto shae equal points and trail FC Apoel by a point on the group table.
Speaking on the much anticipated encounter, Radimov said:
“I think both teams know each other better. Yes, they have information about the strengths and weaknesses of each other and I don’t think that something that have drastically changed during those two weeks.”
