Hubocan has expressed desire to play the upcoming UEFA Champions League tie against the Portuguese outfit in extreme weather conditions.

Benfica are yet to lose a European game during the ongoing European campaign.
However, Tomas Hubocan still believes that the Meshki can batter the opposition. He urged the fans to come and support their beloved Russian outfit despite extreme weather conditions.
“I think that we are accustomed to the weather conditions here. However, Benfica will struggle to adapt to the weather in Russia.
“Though it was not pleasant, we played against the wings of the soviet, when the temperature was minus 14, during the domestic championship.
“There’s a risk of injury, I know, but I think the audience will come to support us. Let’s see how things turn out.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
The control and disciplinary UEFA committee had earlier penalized the Russian giants during the group stage match against Apoel FC. The Bomzhi were fined 50,000 Euros by the management, after they failed to control the crowd present
in the stands.
Hubocan advised the supporters to be disciplined this time around and assured them of playing quality football at home.
Zenit will play against the Eagles on the back of a successful group stage completion. They claimed last gasp promotion to the round-of-16, having claimed a point in the last group stage game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
“I would love to play in the Champions League and it’s very much important for us to take full advantage of home support,” the former FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce player concluded.
Unlike other Russian outfits, Zenit have failed to sign a player during this transfer window. However, Hubocan went on to reveal that they have a strong squad and admitted that they have complete faith in Luciano Spalletti.
