The former Shakhtar Donetsk manager has started to worry about Zenit’s next Russian Premier League campaign and urged his former club to gear up

The fact that Zenit St. Petersburg have retained the Russian Premier League title delights Anatoliy Byshovets, who has congratulated his former club upon winning their third league title since the inception of Russian top division.

However, Byshovets has tipped the St. Petersburg club to strengthen their squad during the upcoming summer transfer window. He added that the Meshki will find it difficult to maintain their fantastic domestic run, should they fail to bring in new players at
Petrovsky stadium next season.

If speculations are to be believed, the Meshki are considering launching fresh bid for Lokomotiv Moscow’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Lavezzi-c13073, having failed to land the aforementioned players in January.

And knowing that, Luciano Spalletti has convinced the club owners to provide him with a handsome transfer budget this summer.

There is little arguing that the Russian outfit has not signed enough players during the last two transfer windows. However, they are likely to invest on players this summer after the Bomzhi head coach, who has recently extended his stay at St. Petersburg club,
confirmed a host of possible new arrivals.

“I am confident that the next season will be very difficult for Zenit. The changes that are coming from competitors are having a positive impact on the level of teams and the quality of their game. This will improve their attitude to achieve maximum results.

“As far as Zenit are concerned, I think http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Maksim-Kanunnikov-c23221 are not up to the mark. They all need to prove they can replace senior players at Petrovsky by working harder next season.” The former Shakhtar Donetsk head coach
was quoted as saying.

Byshovets conceded that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Bukharov-c4555 is struggling to rediscover his old form after moving to the St. Petersburg club from Rubin Kazan in 2010. The Russian striker, meanwhile, has failed to stay fit much of the season.
