Zenit St. Petersburg were less determined to win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Amkar-Perm-c39067, claims Valery Tsvetkov
Former Zenit St. Petersburg defender, Valery Tsvetkov, has lamented the Bomzhi performance against FC Amkar Perm following their laggard performance that saw the Meshki being held at home.
Zenit conceded a goal earlier in the game but the Meshki goal machine, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Kerzhakov-c4569, managed to equalize and earn a point at home.
Tsvetkov revealed that Zenit were more relaxed in the game against the Red-Blacks and they deserved a draw at home. The Russian Cup finalist highlighted that the Meshki lacked team spirit and motivation in the match because they were more relaxed after defeating
the league leaders, CSKA Moscow, away from home.
“Do not forget that Amkar could have scored the second goal, and then the position of Zenit would have been much worse. After the success of the match with a major competitor, CSKA; Zenit failed to find motivation in a game against an opponent such as Amkar".
The former FC Pskov player was quoted as saying.
The Russian Premier League Cup winner heaped praise on the Krasno-chernye by revealing that Amkar displayed fantastic football in the first half. Amkar Perm has defeated Spartak Moscow and held FK Rubin Kazan away from home this season.
Tsvetkov admitted that the Bomzhi lost the points because they had been going through a difficult match schedule and the players were exhausted after defeating the Russian League big spenders, Anzhi Makhachkala, for the first time away from home.
Zenit are going to face Krylia Sovetov Samara in their upcoming league encounter and the Tsvetkov admitted that the Perya need to work really hard in order to extend their three games unbeaten league run. The Russian defender highlighted that being a former
Zenit player he is looking forward for the Bomzhi success and wants the outfit to retaint he league title.
The 33-Year-old stopper expressed his sympathies for the Krysy by revealing that the Russian club is moving in right direction to get out of the drop zone after the appointment of their new head coach, Andrey Kobelev.
