The Italian midfielder believes that the time has come when he should return to his native land, with the Serie A club interested in his signature
Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Rosina-c4741, has confirmed that he is close to signing for Serie A club, A.C Siena, in the near future. With both clubs having agreed on the transfer fee, the deal is expected to be completed
by the end of this week.
“I would love to work under Cosmi. He is a great coach. I have spent the first practice session here in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 today and I am ready to sign a contract.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
The St. Petersburg club’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Spalletti, who signed the 28-year-old winger-c*m-attacking midfielder from Torino back in 2009, is now ready to sell the Italian national in a bid to raise funds for signing Lokomotiv
Moscow’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denis-Glushakov-c10855.
Spalletti is keen on bringing Glushakov to Petrovsky this summer, after he failed to sign the talented midfielder in January. Reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 suggest that the Railroaders want a staggering 20 million pound fee for the 25-yearold
Russian national, who caught the eyes of many scouts at Euro 2012 last month.
Though Rosina impressed during his first season at Petrovsky stadium after his dream move, he failed to show consistency in his performances after sustaining repeated injuries.
The injury-prone Italian midfielder was able to make just ten Russian Premier League appearances last season, as he remained on the sidelines for majority of the campaign. Rosina has now made up his mind to leave after he was told
that he is not going to get more playing time this season as well.
If speculations are to be believed, Rosina, who expressed his desire to work under Serse Cosmi, will sign a three-year contract with the Italian outfit, after undergoing a medical later this week.
It was earlier reported that his old club, Torino, were leading the race to sign him ahead of Siena, Cagliari and West Ham United. However, the Clarets reportedly failed to agree personal terms with the player.
