The Italian defender thanked Luciano Spalletti for his contributions at Petrovsky stadium and urged Zenit to go farther in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Zenit St. Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito has denied reports linking him with a summer move to AC Milan, revealing that he has not heard of any interest from the Red and Blacks.
"I do not know about it. I am happy at Zenit because I feel completely comfortable here. Things are going well with me here in St. Petersburg. So, I see no reason to change anything.” The former Juventus player was quoted as saying.
Criscito, who moved to the Russian Premier League from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 last year, revealed that he is concentrating on the upcoming match against Kuban Krasnodar rather than thinking about his future plans.
The last time these two teams played against each other, Zenit claimed a 1-1 draw at Petrovsky stadium. Criscito urged his teammates to win the crunch league tie and assured the fans of a decent performance.
With five league games left to play, Zenit are leading their closest rivals Spartak Moscow by a mammoth 13 points.
Criscito admitted that the Meshki are getting closer to the league tie after winning back-to-back difficult matches against Spartak Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow and CSKA Moscow. However, he warned his team against complacency and urged
them to work harder.
