Zenit St. Petersburg’s Luciano Spalletti satisfied with refereeing decisions against Spartak Moscow
Zenit St. Petersburg head coach, Luciano Spalletti, has expressed his frustration at the latest round of Russian Premier League, after his side drew 2-2 against Spartak Moscow at Luzhniki Stadium.

The visitors got off to a nightmare start, with Zenit captain Alexander Anyukov scoring an own goal. The Meshki managed to overcome the situation and took the lead by scoring two goals before half-time but could not hold on to the lead and conceded a late
equalizer.
Zenit failed to protect their lead, despite having a numerical advantage on the Red-White the entire second half. Spalletti admitted that it’s a shame that the Meshki could not win the fixture to stretch their lead on top of the league table.
Spalletti went on to support the decision made by the match official during the game and insisted that the Svinyi defender deserved a red card.
“He deserved the red card. The Rule states that if a player of one team touches the opponent’s face, he can’t carry on the game. If you defend him, he will do the same next time. If you've seen the behaviour of everyone who was on the bench, even the guys
who were playing, all of them pointed their fingers on the unjustifiable incident.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.

the match officials did not favour Zenit.

Zenit are currently at the top spot of the league table, and the 52-year old admitted that the title race is still open and urged his team to work harder when they take on Dynamo Moscow in the upcoming league encounter.
