Zenit St. Petersburg striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danko-Lazovic-c10188, has urged his teammates to gear up for the upcoming UEFA Champions League tie against SL Benfica and assured the fans of quality football at Petrovsky stadium.
Lazovic, who joined the Meshki back in 2010 from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven, has had a good Russian Premier League campaign this term, having scored 11 goals in 29 league appearances. The Veteran striker admitted that he worked very hard to
overcome his injury in the first league round.
The Serbian national was tasered while he was celebrating the winning goal against Volga Nizhny Novgorod.
The Russian Cup winner has failed to produce similar form in Europe. Though he failed to claim a starting berth, Lazovic still marked 5 European outings without opening his goal account. 
However, the striker remains confident of rediscovering his form despite his poor European stats.

The first leg is scheduled in Russia while the return leg is in Portugal.
Lazovic admitted to the risk of injuries playing in extreme weather conditions. He revealed that the Portuguese outfit will struggle to play the first leg in Russia and tipped the St. Petersburg to take full advantage of the situation.
“I'm curious how they can play football at minus 15 or minus 20. I am not saying this impossible, but the risk of injury will be huge.” Lazovic warned.
