The former Real Madrid player has reiterated his desire to move into coaching and admitted that managing France one day would be like a dream come true
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international has expressed his desire to coach France one day but according to the President of the French Football Federation, it would be too early for Zidane to be handed such responsibility at this moment.
Noel Le Graet has full faith in Zidane’s ability and believes that the legendry player can coach France national side one day. However, the president feels that now is not the moment to ask for something so big from the former France international.
Zidane, who was a member of the French side that won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000, is currently studying a diploma in sports management. And some circles of the French media were claiming that the former midfielder could step forward and help out FFF
from the current managerial fiasco.
However, Le Graet has dismissed Zidane's chances of succeeding Laurent Blanc as the manager of the national side. While talking to reporters, FFF president stated that Zidane could be a great manager but is more of a candidate for the future.
"It is fantastic that Zidane has indicated that in the future he would like to work with the France national team. And if not possible now, then he dreams of being coach in ten years’ time."
“He has also said that he is ready to study for his coaching badges at (France's National Technical Centre) Clairefontaine. "That’s not a bad school. And he wants to get his qualifications."
Laurent Blanc’s decision to walk away from the post by not signing a new contract with FFF last week, has left the federation in a fix. Les Bleus are currently without a manager at the moment and FFF need to fill the position before the start of the qualifying
campaign for the 2014 World Cup that will take place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858.
There are few candidates in the race to land the job, however, Didier Deschamps is in pole position to become the new France manager and is viewed as the federation's first choice for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684.
