Zimbabwe Cricket Board announce schedule for the home series against Pakistan - Cricket News Update

The Zimbabwe Cricket Board (ZCB) has announced its schedule for the upcoming home series against Pakistan, in which the low-ranked side will play the tourists across all three formats of game including Test, One Day and T20.
The schedule was uploaded on the official website of the Zimbabwe Cricket Board on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
Pakistan, during their more than a month long tour of Zimbabwe, will play the hosts in one Test match, three One Day Internationals and two T20 Internationals.
The one off Test match between the two sides will be played at the Queen’s Club in Bulawayo from September 1 to 5. This would be Zimbabwe’s second ever Test match after they decided to end up their self-imposed exile from the five-day format of the game
in May.
The Zimbabwe Cricket Board, in 2005, withdrew from Test status citing the plunging form of national sport due to political instability and lack of  proper supervision. However, an overhaul of coaching staff and some improved performances from the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045
cricket team over the past couple of years, including a victory against mighty Aussies in a group match of the 2009 http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World T20 Championship, led to side’s Test status being reinstated.
Zimbabwe’s first ever Test, after reinstatement as Test side, is scheduled to be played against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 from August 4 to 8 at Harare.
They will play their second Test match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 before playing a three-match one-day series against the Men in Green. The opening ODI of the series will be hosted by the same Bulawayo stadium on September. Second and third One Day International will
be played at the Harare Sports Club on September 11 and 14.
The two-match T20 series will also be hosted by the historic Harare Sports Club. The first T20 will be played on September 16 while the second and the last T20 International will be played on September 18.
Pakistan cricket team, under Misbah-ul-Haq’s captaincy, will leave for Zimbabwe on August 26. The preparatory camp for the tour will start from August 15 in Lahore.
