Zimbabwe Dollars? Any Zimbabweans?

I want to buy Zimbabwe dollars in the hopes Mugabe will be assasinated, die of old age or be exiled so that when he is gone, the inflation will go down and I will make money. Current rate on xe.com is 1 USD to 18,600,000,000 Zimbabwe Dollars. 1 USD to 3,360 Zambian. If Zimbabwe dollars gained back to a level close to par with Zambian dollars the result would be a gain of about 3.5mil USD. What are some of the problems involved aside from moving the money? What was the USD to the Zimbabwe dollar 5 years ago? Any info is appreciated.

  1. The problem you face here is that the Zimbabwe dollar is worth nothing and will be for years to come! It will take decades to fix what Mugabe has done to Zimbabwe!

The thing is Zimbabwe money is just printed by the government like water therefore it has no value and even if inflation does decrease (which is highly unlikely) the notes will have no value to outside money and most will be destroyed. Zimbabwe dollars is not like the currency in any other country. I have billions of Z$ but when the inflation dies down I will not be a billionaire anymore as the money system and the money itself will change. You cannot become rich on this idea even if Zimbabwe was to become more stable or get help. Sorry....

  2. Sorry with an inflation of 2.2 million %, and 1 billion Z$ notes being printed, Monopoly money is probably worth more than Z$.

Their economy will collapse even more and will be replaced by a more stable something ( I do not know what yet). But the old Z$ will be worthless. It will become perhaps a collector's item. So no get-quick-reach-scheme available there!
