You see the news, it just keeps on getting worse. Zimbabwe was the best country to live in in Africa not so far back, now it is nothing.

Do you think it will ever recover?

  1. this country

  2. This is the history of the African Continent.  Zimbabwe is only the latest of what is very likely to be a continued cycle.

The people in African have tribal ties that are stronger than national ties.   These tribal ties are a major part of the reasons for the tensions.

No easy answer to bring peace to the continent.

  3. There are similar historical references. Germany went down light-speed after losing WWI, with inflation just as bad as in Zimbabwe. America during the great depression. However, this is the only country I can think of that screwed up because of inept leadership and complete disregard for economics. If they ran out of money, they just printed more. A 16 year old could have told them that was a bad idea. Hopefully it'll get better after Mugabe dies or a war is fought there, but how they will stabilise the economy is beyond me.

  4. Holland after WWII experienced the West's last wide-scale famine. Living standards in Russia collapsed after the fall of the USSR. Other than that, i can't think of any. What's happening there is terrible.

  5. It was not so fast.   It has been a process of 10years or more (with the seeds sown before that)

  6. Russia is morally falling down

  7. Absolutely!

  8. Just proves, white farmers and other technologically advanced people should be left  to produce the goods .

A country driven by Mugabie's envy was bound to fail,

And no we don't want the resulting flood of Zimbabwean refugees to be given refuge in the UK, it is asking too much and this may make the UK fail as well

  9. yes the UK is heading there rapidly i would say ----> :)
