around.
Zimbabwe will be playing two warm-up matches against Namibia and England before they kick-start their campaign with the first match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Papua-New-Guinea-c41002 on Aug 11.
"We will play the warm-up matches and will start with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, then we fly to Townsville for group stages. Our first game is against New Papa Guinea on the 11th and on the 14th we will play India and our last
game in the group stages would be against West Indies,” Singo told the reporters.
The African side had a poor showing in the 2010 edition where they stood at 13th spot among the 16 teams, even below associate member countries http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Canada-c748 and Papua New Guinea. However, Singo is hopeful that they are well prepared to see-off
any challenge.
"Our chances are bright. We have a strong side and we are confident that the boys will do well. I expect tough competition to come from India but one thing is we are well prepared," the manager concluded.
