Meth with a minor score of 3.
However, in the opening few overs of the session, the team’s first loss came after all rounder Meth could not continue with his innings and was lashed out by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mitchell-Marsh-c1974 on a Leg before Wicket appeal.
The Zimbabwean was declared out after scoring a disappointing slow innings with 9 runs from a total of 43 balls. Meth displayed some poor batting display during the 1st innings of the match after being called out on a naught.

Ervin, who managed to lose his early footing on the crease made a quick return to the pavilion after a couple overs from Mesh’s loss. The Zimbabwean was again bowled out by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Simon-James-Marshall-c90362 on a disappointing zero.
With the two players already gone in the opening overs of the day, Zimbabwe XI stood at 147 runs with a total loss of 5 wickets in 61.3 overs.
Following Ervin’s loss, the team’s all round player, Chigumbura, made his way to the pitch to join the already footed player Masakadza.
During the first innings, Chigumbura failed to offer any runs through his batting. However, with the ball, the Zimbabwean managed to contribute two important wickets for his side.
The player entered into a swift partnership with Masakadza adding slow runs to the total.
By the time the team entered the final over before lunch, Masakadza exited the pitch falling only 9 runs for a century. The player was caught out by Australian fielder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PM-Siddle-c2197 off Trent Copeland’s delivery.
