South Africa A have posted a competitive total of 244 against Zimbabwe XI, in the match of Zimbabwe A Tri- series at the Harare Sports Club, July 6, 2011.

After that, it was Rilee Rossouw who joined his skipper on the crease and accelerated the South African innings. He looked in supreme touch and started to score freely.

Both then fell in quick succession. First to go was Rossouw, who misjudged the ball and was clean bowled by Vitori. As he walked out of the ground, he was well appreciated by the crowd. His innings of 92 off 93 balls include 5 glorious boundaries and 2 huge sixes.
In the same over, Van Jaarsveld became Vitori’s second casualty. In trying to accelerate the innings he was caught by Zimbabwean skipper Sibanda, making 38 off 42, stroking four boundaries.

The bowlers bowled well with Vitori, the pick of the Zimbabwean attack, claiming three crucial scalps. He was accompanied by fellow medium pacer, Elton Chigumbura, who apart from being economical also grabbed a couple of wickets.
Zimbabwe XI will be looking to their openers to give them a good start, hoping to cause an upset by defeating the South Africans’ and reach the final.
