Zimbabwe beat http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 in third One Day International (ODI) of the ongoing five-match one-day series between the two countries at Harare Sports Club.
After being put into bat by the tourists, Zimbabwe managed to bat superbly to ensure a victory in the game. Openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 after
playing a knock of four runs off 20 deliveries lost his wicket by giving an edge straight to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shafiul-Islam-c89295.
It was then the number three batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/H-Masakadza-c1517 who forged a sensational innings with opener Sibanda as the two batsmen took the bowlers to task by hitting them all around the park, giving the small crowd at Harare plenty to cheer about.
In the 13th over, when the hosts had posted 39 runs on the board they suffered their second loss when opener Sibanda after playing an innings of 27 runs off 36 deliveries was caught by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rubel-Hossain-c2378.
However, this did not deter the Zimbabweans as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/T-Taibu-c2630 joined Masakadza to prolong the batting onslaught on the tourists as the batsmen exhibited tremendous form with the bat by punishing the bowlers at will.
The two batsmen put together 142 runs in the third wicket partnership, pulverising the Bangladeshis.
It was in the 42nd over when Masakadza had his stumps uprooted by Rubel Hossain who bowled an astounding delivery that rammed right into the stumps of the batsman. Masakadza walked back to the pavilion after playing an innings of 74 runs off 100
deliveries.
Meanwhile, Taibu kept on playing handsomely as he batted a phenomenal innings of 83 runs off 103 deliveries before losing his wicket to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nazmul-Hossain-c78993.
Due to the awesome batting display from the upper batting line-up, the hosts managed to post 250 runs on the board, posing a formidable challenge to the tourists.
Coming out to bat, Bangladesh had a daunting total to overcome as they desperately needed to win the game to save the series as already being down by 2-0.
The openers provided a stand of fifty runs as they clobbered the bowlers at will. However, opener Imrul Kayes lost his wicket when he was given leg-before-wicket off the bowling of Utseya after playing a knock of 16 runs off 39 deliveries.

Later, it was the middle-order batsman Mushfiqur Rahim who played a superb innings of 101 runs off 100 deliveries as he tried to craft a victory in the match. However, the hosts in an awesome effort managed to restrict the tourists on a tally of 245 runs
to win the game.
