Bangladesh kicked off their ODI series against hosts Zimbabwe with a huge win of 121 runs at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.

Ten runs later the tourists lost their second wicket on the demise of Mohammad Ashraful, who fell after hitting 29 runs off 41 deliveries. By this time the batting side had managed to post 75 runs on the board.

With such a brilliant batting performance, Bangladesh managed to post a massive score of 269 on the board.
Zimbabwe had a terrible start to their run chase as they lost their first wicket with only four runs on the board. They then lost their second wicket when they had reached only 13 runs.
This gradual demise of wickets continued, costing the hosts the match as they were bowled-out in 32.1 overs for 148.
