Zipp Lighters allowed on board?

Hi guys,

I wanted to know whether I can carry my zippo lighter and other bic type lighters on board to the UK. I am travelling to the Uk and then finally to Dhaka, Bangladesh. If I can carry it, let me know if I can carry on checked baggages which are the suitcases or can I carry it with me on the plane in the carry-on or the laptop bag. Your answers will be well appreciated. I am leaving tomorrow for my hometown..

You can definitly not carry a lighter onto a plane. And no if your bags are checked then they will be out under the plane. You can bring a duffle bag or small suitcase. And a small bag that can fit completly under your seat. and if you put your lighter threw security then it will be taken away and never given back

Combustibles are not allowed on board a plane.  Bic lighters would not be allowed.  A Zipp lighter would be allowed in checked luggate if it's never been used.
