  1. For me, the fluid lasts about, 5 days. You can also use paint thinner cause its very flammable. And save a bit of money. Buy the biggest container of Goo-Gone you can get!

  2. The fluid in my Zippo lasts about a week with normal use. By using it constantly it is probably out of fluid. Zippos usually light with the 1st or 2nd flick.

  3. is the wheel clean,  try pushing the wick closer to the wheel, you can buy new wick's the same place you got the fluid ask them to order it.  mine run's out of fluid every danm day. fluid should last about a week,

  4. Fluid doesn't last too long, especially if you are opening the lid all day, that's what lets the fluid out. try refilling it again

  5. Well if you just set aroud playin with it alot it probably won't last long. Maybe a day or two. I think the wicks can go bad too.

  6. A Flint will last a long time, Even playing with it.

Try putting another Full flint in Behind your worn one, your spring may be getting weak.

Also, care should be taken NOT to overfill your lighter.

If youve never experienced a Lighter fluid burn you'll have to trust me on this.......Lighters that are overfilled will leak slowly and in your pocket they will BURN your skin and its quite Un-Enjoyable.

Better to add a splash of fluid every other day than to take a chance on over filling.

Before filling.......take all guts out of lighter and Pull wick up through flame chamber...Trim with a scissors at a slight angle.......seperate wick fibers slightly and then pull back down so that About 1/4" is exposed......Put all wadding back into lighter but NOT the top Pad.

Fill.........Tun over and set on Paper towels or Napkins.........let sit for a minute.........Now put top pad back on and slip into case.

If you have added the second flint the wheel will be stiff at first.........run wheel across jeans several times.

Store extra flints Under felt pad on top of fluid wad.

    Enjoy your new Zippo........
