i do cheerleading and we work outside.

since school started, ive been getting alot of acne that wasnt there before during summertime.

could it be the fact that my bangs touch my face and other baby hair or me touching my face with my hands?

any suggestions to what i should try using or doing to my face?

help is greatly appreciated!

  1. the reason your face breaks out if you wash too often is because you're stripping your face of its natural oils and bacteria which helps to keep your skin clean. if you use a ph ballanced moisturizer it should help. i use all Arbonne products, i LOVE their Intelligence Not So Basic face wash line. it includes a face wash, mask, balancing toner, eye cream, and face moisturizer. you could just use the wash and moisturizer, but obviously it's formulated to work all together.

Arbonne also sells a Personalizer, it's a green compact that helps reduce redness, absorb oils, and keep your makeup in place. it's a GREAT product that i would highly reccomend.

most makeups are made with mineral oil (which seals off the skin and doesn't allow it to breathe) and animal by-products... animal parts are boiled in a large vat and the stuff that floats to the surface is skimmed off and added to your cosmetics! gross! arbonne doesn't use either mineral oil OR animal products, so it is MUCH better for your skin. it doesn't use chemicals either! it's all natural and BENEFICIAL! which means that it won't cause your face to break out, and it adds minerals to your skin actually improving it over time.

if you don't use makeup, but want to get glowing skin... durring the summer i just use a bronzing powder. it works great! it makes all my skin look tanned and lightly dusted, so it doesn't look naked, but doesn't FEEL like makeup. then i throw on some eye liner and eye shadow and i'm done.

check out my website for more arbonne products! i really hope you find something you're looking for: http://home.comcast.net/~chrisandlisa/si...

  2. Sounds a bit scary but you should try extra virgin olive oil, I add a bit to my cleanser in the shower, helps get all my makeup off and makes my skin really soft. Just make sure you rinse it all off (I even wash an extra time with just my cleanser to make sure). It helped me a lot with acne!

  3. use differin

  4. To much sun can cause acne.

    sweating causes acne

    touching your face causes acne

    being dehydrated causes acne

    wear sunscreen

    drink water

    don't touch you face

  5. Use Proactive, it works great on your zits and pimples.

  6. Don't touch your face! Drink plenty of water, it really helps. Wash your face twice a day, unless you sweat, then wash after your work out at cheer leading.

Also, next time you see your doctor, ask for a medication called minocycline. It help acne from the inside. (It's an anti-inflammatory, which is all acne is.)

  7. you sweat. duh

  8. try using sea breeze naturals it works great with me but you might have lots of acne it you are really stressed.

  9. wait'll you start getting pimples in other places that'll really freak you out

  10. i'm going to go with you touching your face with your hands because that's more likely.

try to stop touching your face so you don't get bacteria on it, and cleanse your face twice a day.

  11. Hair in the face has some to do with it. It is keeping dirt and oil in your skin when it is right up against it. Try not to touch your face , that only does the same. There really is not a solution. Just clean your face and get through it. Watch what you eat, no junk food. That will make you break out.

  12. The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple.

For acne scars and blemishes my wife use papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too. Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'

  13. It could be from your bangs, for sure.

Don't keep them on ur forhead 24/7.

Pull them back when you're at home.

And don' touch you're face anymore.
