http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 has complained that there is no money at AC Milan to buy the players they need, but maintained that he will respect his contract with the Rossoneri.
Recent reports in the press suggested that the Swede is looking to move away from San Siro after failing to capture the Scudetto, but the striker denied any such development.
Ibrahimovic stated that lack of economic prowess is the root of AC Milan’s problems, as there is no money at the Rossoneri to buy the talent that they need.
The Diavolo ace stated that they have made only a couple of signings, while there should have been five new players for the club.
While talking to the press, 30-year-old said:
“Milan’s problem is economic. There is no money to buy five players, or even the ones we need. We made a couple of signings, maybe there will be a third.”
The two transfers for the Rossoneri, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Riccardo-Montolivo-c31049 and Bakaye Traore, have both been free transfers.
Ibrahimovic stated that it is important to spend considerable time at an outfit, as playing consistently improves you as a team. The Swedish International cited the example of Chelsea, who won the final of UEFA Champions League
beating favourites Bayern Munich.
“I guess it’s true that the longer you play together, the more you improve. Just look at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, who won the Champions League although they were not the strongest team.”
When asked if there was any truth to the rumours that he is seeking a move away from San Siro, the striker fumingly stated that without such rumours, the newspapers will have nothing to write about.
The Rossoneri aggressor stated that anything can happen in the world of football, but insisted that nothing has happened as yet, and he is happy at AC Milan.
“Without those, you’d have nothing to write about. I am happy at Milan and will respect my contract. Anything can happen, but at the moment nothing has happened.” He added.
