The 31-year-old has dismissed reports claiming that the Swede is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and wants to return to his former club
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 international joined PSG On 17 July 2012, from Serie A side, AC Milan, after the cash-laden club from Paris paid 22 million Euros for his signature.
However, there were reports in the media suggesting that the striker is unhappy in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 after getting tired of life in Ligue 1.
Ibrahimovic and his representatives have denied such reports adding that the player is more than happy in the country and sees no reason to depart.
While talking to reporters at a press conference, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player stated that he has no regrets about leaving Milan for Paris Saint-Germain and reports claiming otherwise hold no truth.
“I have no nostalgia for Milan,” the 31-year-old told reporters.
Praising the Paris Saint-Germain project, the 31-year-old said that the club has started a massive project here and he wants to win silverware with his new side, both on domestic level and European level.
“We, at Paris Saint-Germain, want to win everything that is possible, and we are only half way through the project there.”
Ibrahimovic’s agent, Mino Raiola, added that his client’s words regarding Milan were taken out of context and he doesn’t want to leave Paris.
The agent added that Ibrahimovic was happy at Milan, but that doesn’t mean he is unhappy at Parc des Princes and wants to return.
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic has always said what he feels. He’s said he was happy at Milan, but he could say the same about Paris and you’d have to believe him."
When asked about whether PSG would be Ibrahimovic’s last, Raiola said that it’s too early to talk about. Paris Saint-Germain are among the best clubs in Europe and moving away from a club like this would be a step down in Ibrahimovic’s career.
“Will PSG be his last club? I don’t know. This club has an important project and they really wanted him here; it would be hard to move away and find a better club than this.”
