While talking to reporters, the Swede stated that it is too early to compare Paris Saint-Germain with Barcelona, which he believes is the best team in the world at the moment. The 30-year-old said that Les Parisiens have a long way to go before they can
become a team like Blaugrana.
"PSG can't be compared with Barcelona. We still have a lot of work to do to become like them. We are a team with a lot of new faces and are still under construction," Ibrahimovic told reporters.
The former Juventus player has little doubt that the Paris club can challenge for top honours in the long term as he feels that PSG have a bright future ahead of them.
"We are a new team with a project that's being put in place. Like I've said before, PSG are the future.”
Ibrahimovic stated that there are so many new players in the camp and they need to gel as quickly as possible in order to become a formidable force in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and Europe.
"For now, we're taking our time to get used to each other, because we have a lot of new players. I hope that it won't take too long, though."
Paris Saint-Germain will next take on Juventus on July 31 in a pre-season friendly game, before taking on Spanish giants Barcelona on August 4.
