The forward was deemed fit for the clash after missing out on the 4-1 victory over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moldova-c2957 last week because of an ankle injury. He admitted that he was unsure of playing but the training went good and he had recovered in time for the match.
“I got much help from [Johan] Elmander today – he works a lot. I had the injury and during the two training sessions I seemed fine, but the question was how much I would be able to play,” he was quoted as saying.

“It’s amazing. I have been lucky in my career, have had this positive support on my side, especially at home. It makes me do extra and add extra motivation, like it did today when I came on to the pitch,” he continued.
The player also insisted that the national side is improving with every game played and that the quest for qualification has not ended as yet. He added that there are still some crucial games to play and that he is hoping for the best.
“It sounds easy, it looks easy — but it wasn't easy. I think we're getting better every time we meet and with every match we play,” he concluded.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored 28 goals in 67 appearances for the Swedish national team.
