The Paris Saint-Germain striker has stated that playing for the national side gives him immense pleasure and added that he is very proud to be a Swede
The 31-year-old is arguably the best finisher in the world at the moment and many people have suggested the player to retire from the international football in order to prolong his club career.

Ibrahimovic added that now that he is the captain of the national side, it has put extra responsibility on his shoulders and it means a lot to him.

Talking about Sweden’s performances in international tournaments, the 31-year-old said that Sweden are a small country when it comes to football and they are not in the same bracket of other European heavyweights.
However, Sweden have given tough times to many top sides in recent years and Ibrahimovic feels that they are on the right track to become a better team.
