The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 international has been heavily linked with a move away from the San Siro with a move to Real Madrid,
however the striker has quashed any such rumours.
The Rossoneri striker has had a distinguished career ever since his move from the Dutch giants, Ajax, and he has played in the
top clubs at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
Speculation became rife after the striker had a war of words with the Diavolo head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, following their
defeats to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in the UEFA Champions League. The striker stated that he was happy at Milan, and he stands by the comments he made six months ago, he stated that he intends to end the season on a high, both with Milan and his national side.
The former Juventus player stated that the Rossoneri bought back the joy he associated with football, and he has no reason to
leave. He mentioned that he would be back in training upon the start of next season. He stated:
“Milan has brought me my smile and my desire to play, Milan is my future. I have no reason to say otherwise - I play well because
I am happy here, on and off the field. More than this I cannot have. After the holidays I will be back preparing for next season with this shirt on me.”
The Swede has had a wonderful season at the Rossoneri this season, and is on the verge of breaking Di Natale’s monopoly as the
Serie A top scorer for the first time in two seasons. However, due to their dip in form, the Milanello have dropped their lead at the top of the table.
Speaking on their slip-up in recent weeks, the former Barcelona striker mentioned:
“We have one point less, but if we concentrate, we can take back the lead. Games against Catania and Fiorentina, with hindsight,
are ones we could have won. It is important not to repeat those mistakes and to do our best in upcoming games. Hopefully we will be back on Sunday and I will score.
It would be interesting to note whether Ibrahimovic does indeed stay true to his words.
