The AC Milan striker reflected on the match against Lecce, and denies reports of a rift with Massimiliano Allegri; claiming some people need to “shut up”.
The Rossoneri registered yet another victory in their quest of winning the Scudetto with a 2-0 triumph over Lecce.
Milan’s victory along with the draw earned by their Scudetto rivals, Juventus, means that the Rossoneri now sit four points clear at the top. The Swedish international admitted that he did not perform to
the level he expects from himself, but felt that:
“The three points are important.”
The striker realised that the lead they have gained over the Bianconeri is a plus point, but there is still time left until the end of the season. He insisted that the Champions need to persevere and maintain
their form until the last match.

Reflecting on the controversy created in the media due to his alleged bust-up with the Milan head coach, Ibra was of the opinion:
“Everyone talks, even those who ought to shut up. Of course nobody is happy when we lose, including me. The team is doing very well, though, as I help them and they help me.”
The former Ajax man was talking to the Mediaset Premium crew, and the volatile striker lost his composure. In the heat of the moment, he flicked his hair band at Vera Spadini, and swore in the process, exclaiming,
“what the **** are you looking at?”
The mercurial striker was visibly infuriated, and in a move to offset the situation, AC Milan issued a statement claiming that Ibra and Allegri have resolved the matter over a phone call.
The statement said:
“They cleared up the misunderstanding that occurred after the touchline interview following Milan-Lecce.”
Ibrahimovic has been a major component of the victories registered by the Giuseppe Meazza outfit, and stands at the top of the Serie A goal-scoring charts.
