Alessio Secco has stated that he always expected http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 to make a move away from AC Milan, and believes that the attacker is not someone who gives much importance to his emotional attachment to the club.

Secco was the sporting director of Juventus when Ibrahimovic opted to exit the Bianconeri for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, and shared his perception of the striker.
The current Modena official pointed out that the Parisian striker is someone that has shown a tendency to move from club to club in his past, and stressed that the star has never given emotional attachment to club much importance.
The former Juventus director of football stated that he tried to keep hold of the former AC Milan attacker during his time with the Turin giants, but mentioned that he failed due to the club’s relegation.

“History shows us that he leaves all the big clubs. He’s evidently not a player who places the emotional issue at the top of his list of priorities. We obviously tried to keep him at Juventus. But then came the year in Serie B.”
Alessio Secco went on to add that he had a good idea of Ibrahimovic’s plans for his future at that point in time, and also expected the striker to continue asking for higher wages on his contract.
The former Juventus director stated that he had understood well in time that they will not be able to retain the Swede.
“Knowing the character of Ibra, knowing that the following year his contract would expire, even knowing what he had in mind for his renegotiation, we were conscious of not being able at that precise moment in history to go along with him."
Secco revealed that the club chose to sell Ibrahimovic to the lone bidder at that time, which happened to be Inter Milan.
