Zombie future or Robot future?

in the future will humanity accidentally create a zombie hoard when serum XV-91 is found not only to prolong life, but cause animation and a lust for delicious brains after death, or will humanity become enslaved by sentient robots who will violently whip their human slaves with bicycle chains and extension chords?

Hmmm. I'd prefer zombies because I know how to protect myself from them ;)

But with robots, I think we'd be screwed.

Indeed.  Robots are more likely but zombies are easier to deal with--they can't set up factories and mass produce themselves like robots can.  

On the other hand....it is possible to logically reason with robots.  

Tough call.  All things considered I would rather deal with zombies--at some point they will all be killed or waste away into skeletons.
