Zone Alarm is blocking my access to the net!!!

Question

I have zone alarm on my pc, but when it is running, it blocks my access to the net. When i dissable it (close it down) i can access the net.

Whats going on?

imo ZoneAlarm is terrible, I use comodo firewall and I have no trouble it is fast and a lot lower-profile

Have a look here for the solution. It was caused by Windows update and Zone Alarm have issued a fix.

uninstal zone alarm from your pc is not good it was hapenend to me  as well

Its caused by a Microsoft update set your security level to medium and you should be fine.

Or switch to Comodo Pro get it from http://www.download.com

Right click the Zone Alarm icon in the tray and open the Zone Alarm Control Panel.  In the main window, click Program Control, and the open the Programs tab.  Scroll down and find your browser and set it's permissions so that it can access the web.

Somehow a rule got created that won't let your browser access the net while Zonealarm is running.

The easy way is to re-install the software and make sure you do not check the upgrade box.  This way all of your rules are wiped out and you can start training Zonealarm correctly.
