Zone Alarm says its expired?!?

I bought zone alarm and now that i try to use it it askes for a code so i enter it. and it says its expired and sends me a link to buy the program when i already had. What is wrong with it? Do i need to buy it again?!!!

When you buy an antivirus or spyware removal software package, you're actually buying a subscription for it, usually for a year.  Some will allow you to use the old version without resubscribing, but mostly they require you to renew your subscription to use it at all once expired (since, after all, your protection becomes obsolete very quickly -- malicious software writers are always working to find new things to exploit, and creating new software to do nasty things to other people's computers).
