Zookeeper?

I'm still only in middle school, but I really think becoming a zookeeper is the way to go for me when i am an adult (I am an animal freak).

So could you please answer these three questions?

1. It says the usual pay for a zookeeper is about 20,000 a year is that good?

2. How many years of college do you need to become a zookeeper?

3. Do you know of any good zoo's in Connecticut?

20,000 is not really all that great; you will need a roommate and would have to be very frugal....but it can grow and you probably get paid more for different animals.....I thought the salary would be closer to 30,000 if you had a degree....sometimes zookeeper means zoo helper and sometimes it is closer to a trainer....some zookeeper jobs require a 4 year college degree, some don't. You aren't going to get to pet the lions all day or anything like that....it might not be as good as you think. you will be moving food and p**p and things around all day. it is very physical.
