Zoom teeth whitening trays...how often?

I just had my teeth whitened yesterday with the zoom procedure and my dentist gave me trays and the syringes to put into the trays to keep in my mouth while i sleep.

But the question is, how often do i put them in? My teeth were already white when the zoom was finished, and i put them in last night but i only have a limited supply before i have to buy more.

So how often should i put them in?

If you're happy with the shade of your teeth after the Zoom procedure yesterday, wait until they start to darken up a little before you use your trays. There's no use wasting your whitening liquid if you're already happy with the shade you have now.

When you do start using your trays again, use only a small amount of liquid so that when you put the trays on your teeth, no liquid seeps out onto your gums. It can really irritate any non-tooth tissue in your mouth. If your teeth feel really sensitive wearing them overnight, wear them for 2-3 hours before bedtime for a few days, and then try to work up to wearing them overnight. Wear them everyday for about 2 weeks. That is the time for optimum color change to take place. Whitening trays are actually proven to work better, and for a longer amount of time than the Zoom procedure. Refills for your trays should cost about $26, but you shouldn't ever have to replace the trays.
