The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international is angry at the constant comparisons with Der FCB while stating the future of the BVB manager and the current form of star player Marco Reus
Borussia Dortmund director of sport http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Zorc lashed out at the press after they cannot stop talking about the two Bundesliga giants. The Borussians have made an unconvincing start to the league this term with only 12 points
from their fixtures. On the other hand, Bayern have a perfect record winning seven out of seven games.
The club official claimed that his side will concentrate on their own results, despite the points difference between the two teams. He stated that they do not follow what happens at their fierce rivals club or how well they are
doing in the campaign.
The 50-year-old suggested that the BVB did not even compare themselves with Die Roten last year when the defending champions were leading the Bavarian outfit by eight points. He said the DFB-Pokal cup winners focus on their own
season.
“That we have not done in the past season, when we were eight points ahead of Bayern - and we make it even now in a situation where we are nine points behind. We play our own season,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former German midfielder is being cautious and claimed that he is satisfied with the Bundesliga outfit’s current form, but warned them that they should not drop further points. The sporting director maintained that the champions
have been playing better than last year.
"We play football in my eyes better than last season. At the same time despite our superiority and opportunities we give away too many points," he stated.
The former BVB star also hinted that Jurgen Klopp could also take Low’s position as Germany head coach after the 2014 World Cup. He further added that Klopp will keep the Dortmund post until 2016 and even after that.
"Jurgen will remain with us at least until 2016 and perhaps beyond over it. This is a very long time in football," he finally concluded.
Zorc also praised http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733’ contribution to the side.
