The sporting director of Borussia Dortmund claims the league title will be up for grabs and competition will be fierce among the top four teams in the country.

He believes that it will be hard for Dortmund to claim a third consecutive league title despite their dominance over Bayern, as they beat them in the league and cup last season.
Zorc said that it was a difficult task to be the top team in Bundesliga for a longer time span. This is further confirmed by a Goal.com study revealing that Bundesliga was the most competitive team in Europe. The competition between
places is very tight and third or fourth rank teams can also mount a title challenge.
"It would be naive to think that you can dominate the Bundesliga for years. There are a few other clubs that have good teams and could challenge. Schalke and Gladbach could both be surprise contenders."

years. This is the first time since 2000s that they could not win the Bundesliga in a time span of two consecutive years.

Finally, Zorc believes that Dortmund is the perfect place for youngsters who are looking to make a name for themselves, as well as an ideal team to be a part of because of their recent domination in Bundesliga. Young players want
to join Dortmund as they are known to groom and nurture raw talent to transform into big players.
"We are interested in young players who are hungry for success and will continue to evolve. This is a prime destination because we are proven at developing young players well."
Although, Dortmund`s squad is stronger than ever, their sporting director is being cautious and is not taking anything for granted. He is well aware of the quality of his rivals and most importantly the threat posed by Bayern Munich.
