With Barcelona facing Chelsea and Real Madrid in the same week, Zubizarreta claims that the game against the London side will be a good preparation for the Clasico.
Barcelona have been trailing Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga for majority of the season; however, with Madrid dropping 6 points since March, Barcelona have finally come in touching distance to the league leaders.

Barcelona’s sporting director, Andoni Zubizarreta claims that the UEFA Champions League fixture against Chelsea will be an ideal preparation for El Clasico and La Blaugrana will be able to analyze themselves perfectly after the away game at the Stamford
Bridge.
The fixture against Chelsea is not going to be as easy as it looks and Barcelona’s end of season objectives will all be clear after the coming week is over. The Catalan giants will face Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday and they also take on
the challenge of Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final.

will have to be in perfect shape as they face the London side.
While speaking about the upcoming fixtures for Barcelona, Zubizarreta said:
“[Chelsea’s game is] Good preparation for the Clasico. It’s a high-octane week.”
Barcelona’s sporting director also admitted that Real Madrid will be able to win against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final, hence claiming that there will be another Clasico in the final of the European tournament.
“The Champions League has decreed that we will have a Clascio in the middle of a tie which will also allow us to play another Clasico in the final in Munich,” he was quoted as saying by Sport.
Barcelona face Real Madrid on 21st April, 2012 and take on the challenge of Chelsea on Wednesday.
