I have 4 zucchini plants, 3 of which produce "normal" looking zucchini - dark green. But one of the plants keeps producing this very pale light green zucchini. The fruit are the normal size of zucchini, it's just a light pale green with white streaks on the skin. Is this safe to eat? Or is something wrong with the plant? Thanks.

  1. not a problem.

the plant with the pale zucchini is a different variety from the other three. sometimes seeds get mixed up either in the packaging or in the planting process.

  2. mmmmm---zuccini-----mmmm----I love zuccini bread, zuccini in sauce-----mmmmm---no problem with your light green zukes, send them to me if it worries you-----mmmmm-----I love them. You might want to cook them, prepare them seperately, slightly different flavor from each other.------MMMMM
