Zulfadli Zulkiffli makes it to Men’s Singles main round of Maybank Malaysia Open 2013
Malaysia’s Zulfadli Zulkiffli proved his worth in the arena and secured his place in Men’s Singles main round after crushing Hong Kong’s Nan Wei in qualifying round at Maybank Malaysia Open 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, on Tuesday, January 15.
The in-form Zulfadli, who has been working really hard to become a better player at international stage, put up spectacular show of top class badminton and easily defeated Nan Wei in a dominating fashion in just 35 minutes.
Local shuttler was on a different level in the arena as he played with staggering precision and managed to win the clash in straight sets with a tremendous margin on the score board.
On the other hand, the Hong Kong shutter tried to put up strong resistance as he played aggressive badminton but failed to live up to expectations and eventually lost the match without even getting close.
It was a crunchy fight in the starting rallies when Zulfadli showed a wonderful display of his craft in the arena and remained successful in occupying the driving seat.
