Zune Problem: How come my Zune wont connect?

I plugged my Zune into my laptop and it wont connect. It still reports me about: Connect a Zune device.

try turning the zune off and then restarting your laptop then try pluggin it back in. or try using a different usb port. if this doesn't work go to www.zune.net/support

I would start by trying different ports on the laptop. Then I would try a different sync cable. Also make sure that the sync cable is making a complete connection with both the computer and the Zune device. When ever mine doesn't recognize that a Zune is connected it is usually because the cable is not completely connected to one or the other.

you could try to unplug it and plug it in again. if not can you be a little more specific. and if it keeps doing that you should just return it and get a brand new one.

is it new? because you have to download the software from

a website or something. someone posted the site already.

you cant use Windows Media Player to download songs.
