Zune and Xbox 360?

Hello, I am having some problems with the Zune and the Xbox 360. Here is the first one

1. I can Wirelessly stream audio and pictures just fine, but for some reason my .wmv video doesn't show up on the console.

2. Whenever I try to play long video files, such as movies (That i've made into .wmv format with a program), the screen flashes black every few seconds. Note that this only happens when I play it on my 360, not when I play the exact same .wmv file on my computer or my Zune itself.
