I always use moyea flv converter tool, it can convert flv to AVI or WMV,MP4 for inserting into powerpoint, iPod Zune,PSP, Cell Phone,and zune support mp4/wmv video, I have used it for a long time, it works great for me, If you need more info, here is a step by step guide about  converting flv to zune,

Zune reads mp4, wmv, so you must convert your video to those formats, I always use aimersoft zune convertr suite, it can easily convert dvd video to zune with high quality, that's really nice, you can check it out here for free:

After conversion finished. Run Zune software, connect your Zune device to computer via USB cable, then the Zune software will detect your Zune player.
