Zurich Switzerland?

My relatives were from Zurich Switzerland but i can not find any record of them at all.Can anyone help?Please reply in English i live in the United States? Mike

Zurich is also a "canton" (State), not only a city. You should try the embassy in Washington DC or the consulate in your city, if there is one, and ask how to go about researching families in Switzerland.

I don't know any websites in Switzerland for family genealogy. Sorry.

The information above is correct, Zurich is not only a city, but also a Kanton.  If you know they exact city where they are from, it may help.  Also, there is something called "Heimatsort"  it is like your city of origin, not necessarily where you live.  I grew up in the canton of Zurich, however, my "Heimatsort" is a town in the Canton of Lucerne, and all my records are there (birth cert, marriage cert. etc.)
