Zyair G-220 adaptor installed but not working

Question

1.Zyxel wireless broadband router working ok on dell dimension 4600 running Windows XP2. Have a Acer travelmate 202 T running Window Me3. Have a Zyair G-220 adaptor - download installation and install driver.4. Adaptor has power but the pc bottom icon for zyair wireless adaptor shows red - meaning it's not in communication with the router.5. How do I get it online correctly?Thanks
