-_- i've been wanting a kitty really bad, so how do i convince my parents? -_-?

i've been asking for a cat for a long time, and i don't think that my parents are taking me seriously. i am really responsible and i get good grades, i just got into a really good school, and i have a dog. the dog was my idea, but he dosn't like me. that is not my fault, but i feel like he was abused before we got him, so he only likes my parents. because of this, i thought that a cat could be my pet, and only mine. we rescued a cat quite a few years ago, and im not sure why, but she would scratch on my parents door early in the morning, but my dog does that now and we still have him.

Convince your parents by saying something like you can save a Kitty from a shelter. Make them feel really bad about animals being put to sleep.
