  1. go buy a texet scientific calculator from tescos.

    theyre only £2 atm.

  2. I have one, its a casio one and its white, i dont know where from or what its called, you can probably get one online, though, you know that will do it for you online.

  3. There are many calculators that can do that for you, but they can be quite expensive. One very good one is the Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS.

If you need one online this is a good site: http://www.algebrahelp.com/calculators/f...

  4. A scientific calculator.. look you must do this..

write the improper fraction eg :

5/3  you write this by first switch on the colculator.. and then press number 5,... there is a bottun on th calcularor ab/c (which let you to do this sign /) and then the 3.. after you press the Equals sign (=) and the ans will be eg 1/2/3. to do conversly.. you press the fraction and then the ab/c sign..

(Eg casio are very good calcuators.. there are obviously more)

  5. use a scientific calculator

  6. Microsoft calcplus it a great one

  7. you don't need a calculator. just divide the first # by the denominator, then the quotient becomes the whole #, the remainder becomes the new numeraotr and the denominator stays the same.

    30/4 = 7 2/4 or simplified 7 1/2

  8. you can use a normal one.

    say the fraction was like,

    11/2

juss divide the top wit the bottom ( 11÷2=2.5 )

so the fraction like 5 ?/2

then multiply the 5 ( whole number ) by the bottom fraction ( 2 )

    [ 5x2=10 ]

subtract the top number w. the bottom ( 11-10=1 )

    so the fraction was 11/2

the new fraction is   5 1/2

    so.

    anywyass,

    in order:

    1. divide the top wit the bottom

    2. the whole fraction is the fraction for the mixed number

    3. multiply the whole number wit the bottom fraction [ denominator ]

    4. subtract the top number of the fraction [ numerator ] with the improper fraction's numerator

    5. that number is the numerator of the mixed fraction

    example :

    1.) 13/3

    2.) 13 ÷ 3 = 4.333333

    3.) 4x3=12

    4.) 13-12=1

    4 (from #2)  1( from #4 ) / 3 ( from the improper fraction )

                                       \ /

                                     4 1/3

  9. Ti-83 Plus does this. It's expensive, but you will use it all through highschool and college.
