It sounds like you were suffering from something called hyperemesis gravidarum - an extreme form of morning sickness.

If you're worried about not getting your period - check with a doctor. 

In terms of the cramping you were having post-procedure, that's normal as well.  It's normal to have clotting, cramping (try Tylenol and a cold compact - it will shrink the blood vessels) and some bleeding.  Some women experience these things for up to a month after.  However, if you're still experiencing these symptoms, you really should go to a doctor.  Did you do a follow up after your procedure?  Did you take any antibiotics to help stave off infection?
