AI has shined since he got into the league day 1! And he has only been in the league 1 year longet than T-Mac.

1997:

AI = NBA Rookie of the Year and All-Star Rookie Game Most Valuable Player and All Rookie First Team

1998:

T-Mac = He averaged less than 10 ppg, mainly coming off the bench.

2001:

AI = NBA Most Valuable Player  and NBA All-Star Game MVP

T-Mac= NBA Most Improved Player

2005:

AI = NBA All-Star Game MVP

And this is comparing them against the whole league and not just each other!

i am going to say mcgrady

i know that iverson's career stats are a little better but he has always been on a team where he is the person with the ball 100% of the time. mcgrady for a was the same player when he was on the magic because the magic just depended on him all the time. but since he is on the rockets he has been more of an all-around player as an playmaker and just evolved into special player that nobody predicted.

since iverson has been traded to the nuggets nothing has not really changed, he still has the ball in  his hands most of the time and he has not changed into a player that the nuggets wanted as a scorer that is a playmaker for his teammates.
